I suspect that my account was compromised
If you suspect that someone else might have access to your account, please change your password by going to the My account page.
If you do not remember your current password, you can request a password reset email.
Note: If you sent a request but haven’t received a password reset email, please try again. If that doesn't help, it's possible that your email address has been changed.
It is important that you choose a strong and unique new password. Also, if you are using the same password for other services, we advise you to reset it for those services as well. (We all know how hard it is to use a unique and strong password for every service. It's impossible to remember all these different passwords, so a password manager can really help with that. An example of a good password manager is Bitwarden, but of course, there are many other good alternatives available.)
Enable two-step verification
To prevent this type of issue from happening in the future, we recommend enabling two-step verification. With this feature turned on, you will be required to enter an additional six-digit code when logging in to your account. To learn how to set up two-step verification, please see this article.
If you are still concerned about unauthorized access to your account after following the instructions above, please let us know about it.
